Dr. Thomas Ritter did his undergraduate training and professional training at The Ohio State University. He received the Doctor of Optometry degree in 1975. He started our practice in Deer Park, Ohio in 1978. Dr. Ritter is member of the American, Ohio, and Cincinnati Optometric Associations. He has served as past president of the COA and remains very active at the state level in the Ohio Optometric Association. In 2007 he was the recipient of the OOA Key Optometrist of the Year Award. He was the first ever Optometric consultant at the Cincinnati Eye Institute and has served as a pediatric vision consultant for the State of Ohio for the past thirty years. Over the years he has lectured nationally in the areas of Sports Vision and Contact Lenses. Dr. Ritter is an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He has coached over 35 youth basketball, softball, and baseball teams, and continues to play baseball. He resides in Miami Township with his wife Karen, has 3 children, Matt, Katie and Kristen and is also the proud grandfather of three adorable boys and girls. Dr. Hagee did his undergraduate training at Xavier University and received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Ohio State University in 1981. In addition he completed a residency program in Family Practice Optometry at the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 1982. Dr. Fender graduated from The Ohio State University College
of Optometry in 1993 and then completed a residency at the Cincinnati Eye Institute.
She joined the practice in 1996 and is a member of the American, Ohio, and
Cincinnati Optometric Associations. Dr. Matthew Ritter graduated from Miami University with a degree in
Chemistry prior to obtaining his Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio
State University in 2002. He has
completed primary care and disease externships in Columbus, Ohio and
Lexington, Kentucky. He joined our practice immediately following his
graduation in 2002. He also is
currently practicing in the glaucoma services department at the Cincinnati
Eye Institute. He is a member of the
American, Ohio and Cincinnati Optometric Associations and is currently
serving as the president of the COA. Dr. Ritter is an active participant in the InfantSee program of the American Optometric Association providing eyecare to infants of all ages. He serves on the Board of Trustees at St. Paul Lutheran Church and he currently resides in Maineville with his wife Sara, and 2 daughters, Ellie and Lainey. Dr. Ritter enjoys participating in any sporting activity; especially basketball, tennis, and golf as well as playing with his children. Dr. Michael Parker joined the practice of Drs. Ritter and Hagee in
March of 2005 after practicing for nine years at the Cincinnati Eye Institute
and in a private Optometric practice in Evendale, Ohio. He received his
undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University and completed his
Doctoral Degree at The Ohio State University. |
